All bookings made are subjected to operators confirmation and we have the right to cancel this booking and provide you with full refunds - if the operator has no availability. Competition and Consumer Act

For the purposes of Schedule 2 of the Australian Consumer Law, in particular Sections 51 to 53, 64 and 64A of Part 3-2, Division 1, Subdivision A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), experiences.travelloapp.com’s liability for any breach of a term of this agreement is limited to: the supplying of the goods or services to you again; the replacement of the goods; or the payment of the cost of having the goods or services supplied to you again.

You must be over 18 years of age to use this website and to purchase any goods or services.

Delivery and refunds

Delivery and Refunds

All our Services are provided electronically. Members can set up an account after agreeing to Member terms and make a purchase to receive receipt and delivery of an electronic voucher for the purchase of their Services. You can also make a purchase as a guest user from our website, but you will be bound by the same member's terms and conditions.

We handle returns and process refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation.

Travello's general refund terms are below:

  1. All refund requests from the customer are subject to Travello's refund conditions.
  2. Travello’s refund conditions can be protected if ‘Refundable Booking’ is purchased on orders.

Standard Cancellation Terms

It is Travello Pty Ltd's company policy that all bookings without ‘Refundable Booking’ are non-refundable. This Refund Policy applies to any product, tour, activity or attraction booked on Travello, Backpacker Deals or associated brands and Whitelabel partners, excluding campervans. The following terms for credit apply:

  • If you cancel within the tour operator's terms: the tour operator's cancellation fees apply, and no refund or credit is available
  • If you cancel outside the tour operator's terms: customers will be eligible for a store credit only, for 100% of the booking value.
  • If the tour operator cancels for weather, maintenance or unforeseen circumstances: customers will be eligible for a store credit only, for 100% of the booking value.

Travello credit will be provided in the form of a unique code and can be used on any attraction, product, tour or activity across all Travello & Backpacker Deals platforms, excluding campervans.

Travello's Cancellation Terms, where applicable, overwrites any Operator's Cancellation Policy in any region. All cancellation requests for any reason, including medical, other than as listed above are at our sole discretion.

Refunds with purchased ‘Refundable Bookings’

Should you have purchased ‘Refundable Bookings’ on checkout, you may be eligible for a refund for the following reasons: Illness/Injury (including Covid), Pre-existing Medical Condition, Pregnancy Complication, Death of Immediate Family, Public Transport Failure, Flight disruption, Mechanical Breakdown, Adverse Weather. Home Emergency, Theft of Documents, Workplace Redundancy, Jury Service, Court Summons, Armed Forces & Emergency Services Recall, Relocated for Work, Changes to Examination Dates.

For ‘Refundable Bookings’ the following terms apply:

  • If you cancel within tour operator's terms: customer is eligible for refund if reason is valid and necessary evidence is provided.
  • If you cancel outside the tour operator's terms: customer is eligible for refund if reason is valid and necessary evidence is provided.
  • If the tour operator cancels for weather, maintenance or unforeseen circumstances: customers will be eligible for a refund if they are unable to reschedule to the available tour dates provided by the tour operator.
  • If the reason for cancellation is not valid and/or necessary evidence is not provided, you will not be eligible for a refund and standard terms apply.

All requests will be required to provide the necessary evidence as per the information received post booking. Any declined requests will be notified with reasoning for customer review. Refundable Bookings are not valid for change of mind, booking errors, or no-shows to tours.

Additional Conditions

All cancellation requests must be received by our customer service team by completing the online refund request form – phone, email or chat notification will be not be accepted. Notifications of intent to change or cancel which are made out of office hours are deemed to be received at the time when the office next opens.

Please note if you are using an international credit card, Travello will process a refund in the currency you had purchased the vouchers. We will not be responsible for any currency exchange rates fluctuations or bank fees charged by your bank.

Any change to the date of your booking of the tour/service is dependent on the availability and individual tour operator terms. There are NO REFUNDS on any lost, expired vouchers or in the event you do not attend, miss or are late for the activity or services.

By purchasing, you agree to reconfirm your booking and pick-up time prior to departure as per the details on the order's booking voucher.

Campervan Terms

Campervan orders have their own terms as listed on the campervan website. Strictly no cancellations within 24 hours of pick up.

Best Price Guarantee

All best price guarantees are subject to review and Travello Pty Ltd's discretion.

Marketing Permissions

By purchasing with Travello and its subsidiary companies, you are giving consent to receive email marketing and SMS marketing communications. You are free to opt out at any time.

Campervan Hire Rewards

You will receive $50 rewards code for campervan bookings. This code is valid for 3 months. There is a minimum spend of $350.

No cashback codes, welcome codes or any other promotional codes earned on a tour or experience booking or displayed and used for promotional material on tours or experiences, are valid on campervan or motorhome bookings, nor will you earn cashback for booking a campervan or motorhome.

Referrals

Referral codes are a one-time referral. You will not get duplicate codes for multiple referrals.

Promotion Codes

All Promotion codes and vouchers can be cancelled, amended, or discontinued at any time by Travello Pty Ltd and are at the sole discretion of Travello. Misuse or fraudulent use of codes will result in cancellation.

All vouchers and/or promotional codes distributed by Travello can only be redeemed once across Travello's platforms. If the cost of the transaction is less then the Voucher/Promo code amount, the customer will NOT receive the difference in credit. Promo codes are also not valid to be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions or campaigns.

Any review or feedback discount codes will have a minimum order spend of $100.

East Coast Australia tours are eligible for a $50 voucher pass to use. These codes are valid for 12 months.

Our 'Cashback' rewards program works where you will receive a discount coupon to your email inbox once you have made your booking. This coupon is UP TO 10% of the value of your booking, in the currency of payment. This one time use coupon will be emailed to you within 24 hours to be used towards any future tour experience on our website. Cashback is NOT valid on any motorhome or campervan hire. You can not use cashback on a transport option (car/campervan), nor will you receive a cashback reward.

Cashback codes are to be used for future bookings on new products only. Cannot be used to re-book an existing purchase. The cashback is valid for 12 months, and you can only use the cashback code with the same email that was used on the previous purchase to be valid.

The maximum cashback that you will be automatically rewarded is $150 in the currency that you booked your tour in ($1500 tour value) for day tours or $200 in the currency you booked your tour in ($2000 tour value) for multi-day tours.

Welcome Code

The welcome $15 code is only to be used on a tour or experience. This code is not available to be used on campervan bookings.

Whole Agreement

These terms and conditions represent the whole agreement between you and experiences.travelloapp.com concerning your use and access to experiences.travelloapp.com’s website and your use and access to the documents and information on it. No other term is to be included in this agreement except where it is required to be included by any legislation of the Commonwealth or any State or Territory. All implied terms except those implied by statute and which cannot be expressly excluded are hereby expressly excluded.

Exclusion of unenforceable terms

Where any clause or term above would by any applicable statute be illegal, void, or unenforceable in any State or Territory then such a clause shall not apply in that State or Territory and shall be deemed never to have been included in these terms and conditions in that State or Territory. Such a clause if legal and enforceable in any other State or Territory shall continue to be fully enforceable and part of this agreement in those other States and Territories. The deemed exclusion of any term pursuant to this paragraph shall not affect or modify the full enforceability and construction of the other clauses of these terms and conditions.

Jurisdiction

This agreement and this website are subject to the laws of Queensland and Australia. If there is a dispute between you and experiences.travelloapp.com that results in litigation then you must submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Visitor use of website

experiences.travelloapp.com cannot be held responsible for your choice of advertiser product or service so please conduct your own enquiries into any business, goods, services and any tours or experiences prior to engaging or purchasing. We are at no time responsible for any loss, damage or issues you may have with the Advertiser, package, deal any other offer (‘Services’) you choose and cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss you may suffer as a result of using the Advertiser Services. Whilst we do try to keep our website and information up-to-date, we cannot confirm that the information on any of the third party advertising websites is accurate or up-to-date. By using this website and the goods and services offered through the advertisers on this website, you agree and acknowledge that you do so at your own risk and that we are not liable for any action or inaction of the advertisers.

Last Minute Deals & Top Deals

Last Minute Deals/Top Deals are non-exchangeable for other deals and cannot be refunded. Bookings made prior to the addition of a Last Minute Deals/Top Deals cannot be exchanged or refunded if that tour or activity becomes available as a Last Minute Deal/Top Deal. Last Minute Deals/Top Deals cannot be sold or transferred to another traveller. Travello has the right to remove a Last Minute Deal/Top Deal at any time and for any reason. Last Minute Deals/Top Deals shall only apply to the specific deal, route, or location specified on the deal. Last Minute Deals/Top Deals can only be used for the specific date, time, and location as specified on the deal. Limitations to spaces and booking dates may apply.

'Win your tour back' Competition

To incentivise user generated content, a draw will be conducted quarterly (every 3 months) in which eligible customers are able to win the full cost of their tour back in the form of travel vouchers. Customers are encouraged to follow company Instagram accounts and share content of their tour/activity, including but not limited to photos, videos & reels. Every post is an entry in the draw.

The winning entry will be announced via Instagram and showcased across company social media accounts and customer communications.

By posting content in connection with the #winitback, #backpackerdeals and #travello hashtags, customers are providing permission to use their content for marketing purposes.

THE PRIZE

The winner will receive the full cost of their tour back in the form of a one-time voucher. In the case where there are multiple pax in the booking, the value of the voucher will only be equal to one pax. The voucher's currency will be determined based on the currency used to purchase. Products available for redemption using the voucher will be limited to the country of currency. Please read the eligibility section to ensure you understand how this works.

ELIGIBILITY

This draw is open worldwide to all customers of Backpacker Deals & Travello.

To be eligible for this draw, customers must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Buy as a gift

Some products on our website are available to purchase as a gift. These orders are to be redeemed within 3 years from the date of purchase.

Rights and Usage of Content:

Publicity:
