Dress for the weather, wear running or hiking shoes and bring a water bottle and camera. For canyoning, bring running shoes that can get wet, swimsuit and waterproof camera. If you don&rsquo;t have one we supply a waterproof camera free of charge. We also have helmets fitted with GoPro mounts.

You can get away with average fitness on most of our adventures apart from our Advanced Canyoning trips &ndash; for these you need better than average fitness. (If you&rsquo;re unsure, please ask at the time of booking.)

We still run abseiling, canyoning and survival courses in light rain. We do need fine weather for rock climbing. Please note that when poor weather is forecast we still make the decision if the trip is running that morning . This is simply because the forecasts are often wrong.

Take part in&nbsp;this spectacular half-day guided abseiling tour, set within the stunning World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. Your morning will be both a scenic and exhilarating adventure, enjoying&nbsp;up to seven&nbsp;abseils of different sizes and difficulties while you appreciate&nbsp;your beautiful surroundings. Let your skilled and passionate outdoor guide provide you with&nbsp;the opportunity to&nbsp;experience the beauty and wonder of the Blue Mountains.

Easing into the morning, you will start with a beginner-friendly&nbsp;5-metre abseil. If you have abseiled before, this descent gets you back into the swing of things. If you have never abseiled before, it teaches you the technique of abseiling.

&nbsp;

Your experienced instructors will be close at hand for each abseil to encourage and explain the techniques. This will&nbsp;ensure you feel comfortable as you progress through to some 15-metre abseils, with the opportunity&nbsp;to descend&nbsp;them a couple of times.&nbsp;Then with your instructor explaining each step, you will finish with&nbsp;a 30-metre overhanging abseil to really get your heart pumping!
